The Peter and Paul Cathedral is the painting by the artist Irina Sztukowski.
This Cathedral is located in Saint Petersburg, Russia, inside the Peter and Paul Fortress. It is an Orthodox Church and the first and oldest landmark in the beautiful city of Saint Petersburg. The fortress is on the island, and the church was finished in 1733. This cathedral is overseeing a gorgeous waters of the Neva River. Both, Peter & Paul Cathedral and the fortress itself were originally constructed under a close supervision of the Russian Emperor Peter the Great in collaboration with the famous architect and designer Domenico Trezzini.
It is known fact now, that the cathedral's bell tower is remaining the world's tallest Orthodox bell tower. The Peter and Paul Cathedral is actually considered the highest Orthodox Church in the world.
