William Turner Mount Rigi Watercolor Study by the artist Irina Sztukowski.

Irina explored the ability of antique, 1894 watercolor paint set, which she purchased recently for the purpose of study the Old Masters technique, to challenge, and paint without the limits being limited by 19th century pigments and tools. In this painting, Irina explored three Turner's paintings of this Switzerland mountain: Blue Rigi, Red Rigi, and Dark Rigi. The tour into the Old Master's masterpieces allowed Irina to create her own art piece, full of light, color and fresh mountain air.

Irina is an award winning American Artist and illustrator. Her art has been published in Best Of Artists - Watermedia - Volume II, Somatic Psychotherapy Today magazine, Spirit Seeker magazine, People magazine online, and a book Watercolour A Day.
